Peter Laveran is a partner in, and a vice-chair of, Covington’s Corporate Practice Group. He is resident in the firm’s New York office and has spent roughly half of his 25 year Covington career in the firm’s London office. Peter’s broad-based transactional practice focuses primarily on cross-border acquisitions and divestitures for European-headquartered companies including recent matters for Altice, Bayer AG, GSK, Magticom, Meda AB, Novo Nordisk, Stabilus SE and Stagecoach Group PLC. He has also advised a host of U.S. and global companies in acquisitions and post-merger integration matters, leading post-merger integration efforts in over 75 jurisdictions worldwide.
